Hi, how do I test to see if the capacitor is faulty and would this stop the 3 button/fan settings from working
LED is illuminated when switched on as well as the lamps x 2 but fan won't turn Please help?

Check for any signs of burning on the capacitor, then fault trace through the rest of the components to find the fault.
