There are two what look like thermastats on the back of the drum & one on the side, what is the difference between these 3?

One of them on the back has a little red button.

    Hi, one of the thermostats control the temperature in the dryer. The others are safety cut-out thermostats which act much like a fuse - tripping to prevent the circuit being shorted. This is the thermostat which is used for heating the dryer.
