My drain cleaning kit has stopped working it cuts out when switched on , no water comes out at all , can it get blocked up ? When I put the lance back on it works fine , just a problem with cleaning kit

It sounds like the end has got blocked possibly from corrosion of the small jets. Unscrew the tip and confirm the hose is good before trying to clear the jets.
