How do I remove the post motor filter

Having recently cleaned filters I do not know how to remove this filter. Also can you tell me is there a manual available for the DC18 as what I appear to have received with the purchase of the dc18 is a small brochure type booklet

Hi there, to remove the post motor filter, first remove the bin from the vacuum. Once you've done that, this part should clip or twist on and off. You'll then be able to remove the post motor filter from its 'cage'. As far as manuals are concerned, we don't have any avaiable for the DC18, however if you go to this page you can look at part diagrams for the vacuum, which may give you a better understanding of how it's put together. Follow the links on the left hand side under 'Part Diagrams' to view all the diagrams for your model.
