Does the Assembly Head have the red sliding button at the side which deactivates when cotton etc goes round the brushes 2 Answers
I am unable to see the button (which is on the right-hand side on the assembly bar ) in your pictures. If this is no longer on the spare part why has this been removed . It was a great help when cotton etc got tangled . When one slid the button the bar rotated . Thank you
- I think the question is referring to the Overload reset button. The overload trips out the rotor bar motor when too much current is drawn e.g. when the rotor bar becomes entangled. Without the Overload protection the motor may well be damaged. Does this replacement head have an Overload unit as in the original version?

We have no information on the button you refer to, to check you are looking at the head for your version of Dyson ill in the information including product number using this address: https://www.espares.co.uk/contact/sales
When we try to use it, the brush starts to rotate then stops, also it makes a horrendous noise like bearings have gone. Does it need a new head assembly? 1 Answer

It is likely to be the head but check the brush roll for anything that may be causing the noises.

This item does include the motor as part of the head assembly.

There is a clip around the tube as it attaches to the body that when released allows the head to be removed and replaced.

Check the brush roll as they get blocked up stopping it from turning, this video will also help www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1a38GBXpQo&t just copy and paste into your browser.
