I have a beko fridge/freezer CDA 751FS .The fridge appears not to be working tho' the freezer is O K can this happen ? and if so should I replace with a new thermostat.

If the appliance is continually running it is trying to reduce the temperature. As the fridge has a 'wet wall' this should freeze water droplets across the back surface of the cavity. If this is not freezing and the appliance is running continually you may have a problem and require a systems engineer to repair it.
