We do not currently have a video on this repair at this time but are increasing our video range all the time.

Answer this question

Both will fit my cooker although ES1446623 looks more like the existing part. Also 6623 is £86.49 and 5583 is £110.99. Hmm! Someone did mention about push on connectors instead of solder on, is this the difference? 6623 is solder & 5583 is push on? Can you help before I buy!! As item trips RCD (assume short) should I replace neon & switch as well? Thanks

This is Rangemaster part number A028998 we cannot confirm the connections. ES1445583 is Rangemaster part number A027125 or A027193 and has push on connections.

Answer this question

If used it trips out the rcd so something is shorting. How do I know or can I test if it is the Hot Plate Assembly, the neon or the selector switch. Should I order all three and can I return the unused parts?

The problem is most likely to be the ring itself rather than the controls. If there is another ring of the same type you can swap over to confirm the problem.
