Fan Oven Element - 2300W
If you have noticed that the fan oven is not heating up, as usual, this could be due to a faulty fan oven element. This element is the circular element in the oven and can fail if the internal element filament burns out - causing a short circuit.
The function of the fan oven element is to heat the oven cavity. When the cooker knob is turned on for your electric cooker, electricity will flow to the element which then proceeds to heat up. Once the element reaches the desired temperature, the electricity flow switches on and off to maintain the temperature.
