When your Flymo strimmer runs out of line reloading it isn’t as difficult as you think it might be.
Remove the spool cover, which is available as a spare, take out the empty spool which you could then replace with a pre-loaded one or you could reload it with some genuine Flymo line, which comes in twenty metre lengths - I’ve pre-cut two lengths, five metres long.
When it comes to reloading the line, reload the top deck first. You’ll need to push some of the line in to get some purchase, a couple of centimetres should do it. Then start winding it neatly in the direction of the arrow. You’ll need to do it neatly otherwise you’ll find the line won’t feed properly when you’re strimming. You’ll notice I’m cleating off the ends of the line so that it doesn’t unravel when I replace the spool.
Feed the line through the eyelets, get the spool in place and remember to uncleat otherwise the line won’t be able to feed, replace the spool cover and we’re ready to strim again.
