How to Replace the Freezer Door on a Beko Fridge Freezer

To complete this repair, you'll need the following tools:

• A small flat blade screwdriver
• A standard flat blade screwdriver or a Torx 25
• A new freezer door

Before you purchase a new freezer door, you will first need to know your appliance's model number to make sure you buy the correct replacement. Your fridge freezer will have a model number consisting of letters and numbers, and it could also include characters such as a dash (-) or a slash (/). This number can usually be found on a panel or sticker inside the fridge behind the salad drawers, on the interior wall or on the sides or back of the appliance. Before you begin, make sure your fridge freezer is turned off and completely disconnected from the mains.

To remove the freezer door, you're first going to need to remove the fridge door to gain access. First, you'll need to remove the fridge's top door hinge. Start by opening the door and removing the hinge cover by inserting the small flat blade screwdriver into the middle of the left-hand side of the cover. You can then prise the cover open and pull it across the hinge to remove it.

Then, you can remove the two hinge screws using either your flat blade screwdriver or Torx 25. Whilst doing this, make sure that the fridge door is supported so that it doesn't fall once the screws have been removed.

Angle the fridge door outwards until you have the hinge clear of the cabinets, you can then remove the hinge.

Once the hinge has been removed, you can lift the fridge door off the centre hinge and place it to one side.

Now that the fridge door has been removed, you can access the middle hinge to remove it. Remove the screw holding the hinge in place with either a flat blade screwdriver or Torx 25. You can then lift the hinge away.

To remove the freezer door, hold it on either side, open it slightly and gently lift it off the bottom hinge.

Fit your new freezer door by slotting it onto the bottom hinge pin and closing the door.

Replace the middle hinge and refit the screws.

Now that your freezer door is fitted and secure, you can refit the fridge door. Make sure you have the hinge and screws ready and within reach. Lift the fridge door and line up the hole at the bottom with the centre hinge pin to slot it into place.

Be sure to keep your fridge door supported and slot the hinge back into place and refit the screws.

Then finally refit the hinge cover by sliding it back over the hinge and slotting it into place.

Your freezer door should now be replaced and your appliance back up and running again!
