How to Replace the Hose on a Dyson - DC07

Even the smallest of holes in your vacuum cleaner hose will cause a loss of suction. If the hose on your vacuum cleaner has either split or cracked during your hovering session, you’ve come to the right place.

Fortunately it's dead easy to do, but if you’re still unsure follow our simple three step guide on how to remove and replace your Dyson DC07 vacuum cleaner hose and have you vacuum performing at its best once again.

This video shows an example on how to remove or replace the part on a typical machine, some models may be different but the procedure should be similar.

  What You Will Need:

  Step 1 - Safety Advice

Safety First! Please ensure that you have disconnected the appliance from the mains before starting any repair.

Step 2 - Removing Old Hose

It's a matter of seconds before you have your vacuum performing at its best again. To remove the damaged hose, simply unclip and slide out the wand, pull the catch on the base of the machine back, and slide the hose out. Simple!

  Step 3 - Replacing Hose

Now to replace the hose…grab the new hose, there might be a slight difference in colour but will do the same job. Slot one end to the base, ensuring to click it into place and then slide the extension wand in the other.

There you have it! One new hose assembly connected to your vacuum cleaner, you can now finally hover your home in peace knowing the cleaner isn’t leaving any dirt or debris behind.
