If the inner oven door glass on your oven has become cracked or damaged in any way, it will need to be replaced to ensure safety and keep your appliance working to its best. The glass on your oven can be damaged when it is removed for cleaning or by general wear and tear. Not to worry though, it can be easily replaced.
How to replace the inner door glass in a cooker step by step

Before you begin this repair, make sure your appliance is switched off and fully disconnected from the mains.
You'll need:
Find the model number
In order to get the correct door glass replacement for your oven, you will need to know the model number. For cookers and ovens, this can be found on a sticker or data plate, usually behind the oven doors around the frame. If you can't find it here, check the back or sides of the appliance. The model number usually consists of a combination of letters and numbers and could also include characters such as a dash (-) or a slash (/).
Step 1: Check for the plastic stops
Many cookers with a side opening door, such as the one below, have an inner door glass that can be easily removed for cleaning. At the bottom of the oven door are two plastic stops on each side which help to hold the glass in place. When replacing the oven door after cleaning, if it dropped from too high, it can break these two plastic stops and cause the glass to fall to the floor.
Step 2: Replace the plastic stops
If this has happened and the plastic stops are broken or no longer there, you will need to replace them. To do this, simply slot them into the holes at the bottom of the oven door as shown below. These will feel loose but when you put the oven glass in place, they will hold it in place.
It's a good idea that whenever you remove the inner door glass from your cooker door, to check the quality of these plastic stops and replace them if necessary.
Step 3: Replace the door glass
With the plastic door stops in position, you can replace the inner door glass. Carefully slot the door glass into place so it reaches the plastic stops at the bottom. If there is any writing on the inner door glass, this should be readable from the inner surface of the door.
Step 4: Close the door
Close the door of your oven to make sure the glass is fitted correctly.
