Bosch Dishwasher E14 Error Code

We are sure you will agree that a working dishwasher in your kitchen is an appliance that you have come to very much appreciate! No doubt the dishwasher saves you time, as it means that you don't have to do the washing up by hand.

However, if you have come to use your dishwasher and you are suddenly being presented with an error code, there is no need to worry. We will help you determine what the issue is.

If your Bosch dishwasher is flashing with an E14 error code, it is usually associated with a faulty flow meter.

Following this guide should help you find the fault,  and hopefully get you back to being able to open the dishwasher door to collect sparkling clean dishes again in no time!

Flow Meter

The flow meter is fitted in either the water inlet pipe immediately after the water inlet valve or the chamber on the left side of the cavity.

Usually, a fan is turned by the water with a magnet attached, which is sensed by a reed relay to check the amount of water which has entered the machine.

Safety First! Please ensure that you have disconnected the appliance from the mains before starting any repair.

  • To access the flow switch, remove the top lid and the left side outer panel. Depending on your model the flow sensor may be in the pipe after the water inlet valve or the plastic chamber on the side.
  • Inspect the flow switch for any signs of corrosion that may have caused damage.

If you have done the above, with no sign of damage found, you can replace the flow meter today with the help of eSpares.

With the help of eSpares, you can soon be back to a fully working dishwasher again soon - so you can say goodbye to needing to wash the dishes by hand.
