Drain Pump
There are two initial checks that you could take to examine your dishwasher's drain pump. One possible cause as to why your dishwasher is not starting is that it cannot drain the water inside. If you are experiencing this issue, then both of the steps provided below could help to identify why your dishwasher is not draining the water.
- Always check that the most recent program has finished - and not ended mid-way through a cycle.
- Glassware can break while being washed in the dishwasher. When this occurs the broken fragments may become lodged within the pump.

- To check for glass, or any other objects blocking the pump, you need to access the pump and carefully remove any debris. However, do remember that broken glass may be causing the blockage and so please take care in removing it - to avoid injuries.

Door Lock
