Whirlpool Dishwasher Error Code F03

For most homeowners, their dishwasher is without a doubt one of their favourite and most convenient kitchen appliances. Serving the purpose of clearing the kitchen worktops to be free from dirty dishes after those large family dinners.

Not to mention that it means that the dreaded question of "who's doing the dishes tonight?" does not need to be asked after you have enjoyed your meals.

If your dishwasher is displaying an F03 error code during the wash cycle, it’s an indication that there's a problem with the water heating up - and the likely offender would either be the element or flow through heater.

Your plates, dishes, and cutlery could still have a build-up of grease on them if the appropriate water temperature is not achieved, and the wash cycle may not finish correctly.

A dishwasher heats the water by using an element in the bottom of the tub, or a flow through heater which can be found at the base of the machine.

However, if your dishwasher isn't heating up properly, the most likely explanation is a faulty heating element that needs to be replaced. That being said, it's always a good idea to check and make sure a part is faulty before replacing it. Fortunately, we have a step-by-step guide demonstrating how to test the heater in a dishwasher with a multimeter right here.
