Neff oven element with/without stud

I ordered an 2500 Watt Fan Oven Element for my B1420W0GB/05 and find that when I removed the old one there was no stud. The replacement element has a stud. Can I remove the stud and fit it with existing screws. Would have been advantageous if stud/no stud was highlighted and I would have checked before ordering.

I think the stud you refer to is shown in the image. It should be possible to remove this stud and fit using the screws from your oven but as this is a 'compatible' part there may be other mounting differences so check carefully before trying to remove the stud. If you are not confident that you can remove the stud without damaging the element contact us for a refund (subject to our conditions) and order the original part.
