Do the drier belts come with clear fitting instructions?
Hi I have a Candy CDC266 UK condenser drier. The compatible belt ES102907 is meant to fit. However, I can't find online any instructions of how to fit. There are lots of videos/instructions for hotpoint machines etc. where the side of the machine can be removed. The CDC266 appears to have the sides and back as a single pressed piece. I assume you have to remove the front of the unit and then you can get access to the drum and motor shaft or pulley. Can you advise for this machine? Thanks PS the belt is definitely broken - I have taken the top off and its no longer around the drum

There are no instructions or video for this, However if you remove the top, control panel and front you can then remove the front drum support and undo the rear drum bearing plate from the back to lift the drum out. Then the belt can be fitted around the motor shaft after taking of one of the fans and cowling. reverse to reassemble slipping the drum through the belt and mounting it before passing over the tension pulleys. This is a big job and it may be worth checking out how much Repaircare charge for a fixed price repair on this machine.
