My brush has stop turning
The 3 rubber prongs on the in side of the brush bar has worn away if I replace it will the brush turn again?
Answer this Question (2 Answers)
- If the brush motor is still running then it is the moulded threads but if the brush motor is not running then it is most likely the filters need changing.
- The molded "threads" on the inner side of the end cap that retains the brush bar are easily damaged (usually by trying to remove it without turning it 90 degrees). This allows endways movement of the bar. This extra clearance causes the drive to slip and the drive prongs wear away the corresponding brush bar "prongs" you mention. A new bar will therefore quickly wear the same way without a new end cap.
