replacement needed for Candy single under oven bottom element;grill element sound.
The label visible with the oven door open, is not legible to show model id;I have accessed the bottom element from the underside of the outside casing,(via foil backed insulation and a flat steel plate) the element dimensions are suggesting Candy ES1110037 EXCEPT that the old element tags are only 25mm apart,and not 75mm as per proposed replacement,although slot would seem to accomodate this.However, product detail shows wire spacer,which is absent on the scrapped element.Question is,whats the function of wire and is this critical ?If suitable,Iwould like to be able to order immediately.PS does foil backed insulation need redoing?and do Espares have same?

The 'spacer' is a bar to support the element and may catch your insulation during installation. The insulation should be fitted to ensure heat is not escaping into the cabinet. You may have the model info in a hand book, on a receipt or on another part of the oven.
