my bosch fridge FD8107 has stood in the same position for 12 years, with no probs.
the water tray above the motor seems to fill and not evaporate.i can not see any leaks from any pipes.but from about the last couple of months theres quite a lot of water on the floor.any assistance you can gieve me would be greatly appreciated.

If you check your instruction book (you can download it at: http://www.espares.co.uk/usermanuals/search?SearchPhrase=kdr4042) it states referring to the climate class that this appliance if it is a 'N class' must be in a room with an ambient temperature of between 16 c and 32 C or 60.8 F to 89.6. If this is not the case the compressor is working outside its design parameters and not producing the correct temperature to correctly evaporate the water away. This is Bosch's specifications and not a fault with the appliance if it is sited in an unsuitable location. Although we would be happy to sell any spare parts that may resolve your problem, unfortunately in this case it sounds like the problem is due to an unsuitable location for this time of year and cannot be fixed by replacing any part on this appliance as it has been designed this way.
