How do I refit the door seal on a Hotpoint WMAL641?

I have replaced the front counterweight, and put the tub back into the case, refitted all wires and hoses, but I am stuck at the last stage! The door seal on this model is permanently fixed to the case, and uses a spring to hold it to the tub edge, but I can't see any way of refitting it. It seems impossible to do, as there's no physical way to push the seal onto the tub edge all the way round and then get the spring on. Please can you advise on a technique to achieve this? I have followed your "replacing bearings" video which is very useful, but on that machine, the seal fits onto the case, which seems much easier. Thanks.
