Could you please advise how I remove the original clip as it is not obvious when compared to simple screw head types? Thank you.

    These clips are used in manufacture and usually replaced by engineers for the standard jubilee clips during repair. You can pinch these tight by using a pair of nail puller pliers as used by carpenters. Engineers will usually remove the hose by using a pair of water pump pliers to twist the hose and its clip off the 'fitting' before removing and discarding the old clip.
