Will I be able to use the oven base shelf on the base of an electric cooker?
I have previous put baking trays on the base and because there is an element underneath they burn. So I was wondering if the same thing would happen if I bought a base shelf. Thanks.

Because the base shelf has legs that lift it of direct contact with the base it should not burn as easily, However as it is nearer the element it may be hotter than some other parts of the oven.
