  Hi Anon, I've been doing some research on this product which when you asked the question it was simply called 'neon'. This is a red pilot light neon. The schematic drawing for where it fits isn't very helpful - but from the name of the item I would assume that it's a red light on your control panel. I've included the unhelpful drawing below with the neon light highlighted in yellow.
