I bought the solenoid valve in feb when the drum was filling over night but it now doing the same thing again

  • Hi Rory Its the hot water valve for sure --the little plastic filter in the valve was filty and i thought i had solved the problem-------now its taking in water quicker than ever. before 1 inch of water in cylinder now 3 inches after been idle for 20 hours regards Up the Rossies By up the Rossies - Ireland - 28 June 2011

    Hello there up the Rossies. It could be that either one of the other two valves is the cause - the ones on the end of the inlet hoses at the back of the machine. If the hoses are plumbed in to the kitchen sink, try turning your taps on and off to see if this has an effect on water entering the machine. If the leak stops happening while the taps are on, you'll need to replace the valve. The other thing that could be causing this is dirty or blocked filters inside the valves. Give all the filters a clean and get rid of any residue. Hopefully this'll sort it. Best of luck.
