My 720Ef Stoves oven is slow heating but does reach temperature and cooks unevenly, favouring the right side. On a full tray of food the outside cooks before the inside items. Would this be the fan, or is it likely to be an element?

Answer this Question (1 Answer)

  • Hi, It does sound like the fan, in my Q720EM (ten years old now) the fan had been playing up for about a year. We had to give the fan a push to get it started. Just before xmas the element went wrong, so i changed that. After that the oven was reaching temperature, but not cooking very well, i noticed that the fan wasn't spinning very fast, so I got this replacment for it. As soon as i put the oven on for the first time, you could see the fan spinning much quicker, the oven now works perfectly again. By Jason - bracknell - 13 January 2011
