Cooling fan on stoves cooker . Should it be blowing out through doors or out the back ie from front to back

This cooker is fitted between cupboard units with a 600 gap . Over the years the heat from the cooker has lifted the laminate on the unit doors adjacent to cooker . The fan blows the heat out of the front and I am wondering if it should be sucking in from the front and blowing out at the back . Any ideas ???

    Chris at eSpares says...

The purpose of the cooling an is to remove some of the heat within the case and to blow across the control knobs to help cool and prevent damage. This at best is a gentle breeze and may not be effective enough to prevent damage to surrounding cabinets.
