The safety cap screw top won't screw into the body and lock. It feels OK at first but spews out steam when the water heats up. Do I need a complete set, or an O ring/washer or? I am not a plumber!
I have had the cylinder steam cleaner for 5 years and have never had a problem with it. Operating on it with a screw driver and hammer makes me panic, so please help! It is not heavily used, just weekly for the kitchen floor and bathroom.

The safety cap comes complete including a new O ring seal fitted, it must be secured correctly or it will not seal. For more help, there is a video on the replacement of the cap www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYs_ji-Jdh0 just copy and paste into your browser.
