      will this part stop shut my freezer door properly

      keeps opening on its own ,dosent pull shut as it should

        Although there are 'ramps' on this hinge to help it 'settle' in the closed position a door not closing is more likely to be caused by a sticking or misshaped door seal or the pivot hole on the door being damaged. Check these before ordering.
