      When switched on this element trips mains others all OK

      I have checked this for continuity OK, checked for earthing Ok, but still trips. Wiring checked Ok Is it possible element is still faulty?

        the element may still be down to earth even if you have checked it for continuity, it sounds like you have checked everything else
