Creda tumble dryer drum sqeales when rotating in both directions

It still works, but is very noisy. The sound from the back of the drum varies between a rattling sort of squeak to an ear-splitting squeal - exactly the sound I'd expect from a failed bearing. Is there anything else it might be? And if it is the bearing, how difficult is it to fit - you haven't included this in your "how to" videos.

Hi Joe F, it does sound like the bearing has gone, and unfortunately replacing bearings is a big job. You'll need to take the back and side panels off the dryer to get access to it. Once you've removed the panels, you should be able to deduce how to get the bearing off. Best of luck!
