• No this item fits on to the belt drive just under the impeller and on top of the belt, when you get this item it will indicate which side of the disk needs to face the fan this is the side that faces the impeller. It’s very easy to replace this part and you will kick yourself for ever worrying about it once you have done it. By Racs - London - 14 April 2010
