I have 2 green wires to one stat and a red and pink to the other the new stats have a green and a yellow spot how do they connect?

In the second image the thermostat on the left (grey spot?) is a safety cut out and will 'trip' if the heat exceeds the safe limit. The yellow spot is a 'cycling' thermostat that repeatedly cuts in and out to control the heater temperature during drying.
