is there any difference between a thermostat switch and a thermostat cut out switch as they look similar
Answer this Question (1 Answer)
- The cut out works when a max temp is reached to protect the machine. The switch is used to control the dryer at the correct operating range selected. No difference visually except part no. so care should be taken to fit like for like to avoid wiring problems. Easier to change as a pair & more cost effective. Access by removing panel at back, tools required X-head s'driver & long-nose pliers.Beware sharp metal edges. Good luck!
