Are there additional fixings on an Indesit RG2250
I've followed your video, which looks very similar to the Indesit, but the housing for the thermostat appears fixed at the back. It will pivot but not move forward as in your video. Any further advice, please?

- Further investigation showed that the electric cable needed pushing through from the back of the fridge to allow the housing to move forward and release it from the rear catch.

Check if there is an additional screw that may be hidden. if the housing will slide forwards or backwards a little it may then unhook from the lining.
