• As you can use detergent and other additives in a washer/dryer then I don’t see why not. Check the instructions that came with the machine about routine maintenance as some manufacturers recommend water treatment additives. If in doubt contact the manufacturer or recommended service centre and for advice, if possible ask to speak to their technical dept. Check for machine users or manufacturers web site.
