Right part?

Hi I am looking at buying a second hand item on Ebay, which has a faulty button. The exact description of the problem is 'the knob gets stuck halfway through the cycle and will stay there until you manually turn it a few degrees'. I have no idea if this is the correct part to fix this problem, so if you'd be able to help, I'd appreciate it! Thanks, Lindsay

Hi there, there's a variety of reasons for a dishwasher cutting out mid-cycle - and a faulty timer is one of them. It depends at what point in the cycle the dishwasher is cutting out. One of the most common causes of the dishwasher cutting out is a blockage in the outlet hose or filters.
