Fridge difficult to start
Hi my Bosch fridge has difficulty starting recently. The motor will buzz but not start cutting out on what sounds like a thermal cutout after a few seconds. It repeats this cycle quite a few times before starting and running ok. Is this the only start device is there a separate start capacitor as well?

If the motor is stopped by switching off and you try and restart is before the gas pressure has equalized the compressor will stall and trip out as you describe. If the same occurs when you switch off and wait for over 5 minutes then this is a sign of a problem. Try replacing the relate but it may be the compressor failing and require a Refrigeration Engineer to replace and re-gas it.
