My current soap dispenser is not opening during the cycle, would that problem be solved by purchasing this new one?

There is a solenoid on the back of the dispenser that releases the door. If you start a normal main wash cycle (not pre wash) and listed carefully you may hear a slight buzz for five seconds between one and ten minutes into the cycle. If this occurs then the dispenser is being told to open but in not working.
