My dishwasher empties but then without it being switched on, it has refilled and leaked water out onto the floor. Is this due to a broken float switch & is it accessed from underneath the dishwasher?

My dishwasher is a Bosch Classixx SGS45C12GB/16.

The issue is known as backfilling and may be due to the drain hose allowing water back into the dishwasher. Other reasons could be the water backfilling from the sink, a faulty check valve or a worn impeller.
