Could someone please make a metal version of these knobs?

The plastic bit that attaches to the metal bit of the cooker is not up to the job and they repeatedly break. Every other part of our £2000 cooker is made of steel eccept for the bit that takes the pressure when you turn the knob. Is this a built in design flaw?

  • i agree - the knobs that came with my cooker have all broken. I ordered two new ones from e spares last year and am now having to order another 5 to replace the whole set within 4 years. We'll see how the replacemnet knobs perform. By Housewife2010 - - 17 April 2010

We've not had any mention of this problem before, it may be worth speaking to your manufacturer if it is a regular occurence. They may have a solution. If you could provide us with your model number we could check if there are any other knobs asides from this one.
