I have taken the two screws out of the door and removed the outer door part but can not see how to take the door and hinges out from the main oven. Do I have to remove any more screws from the oven to release the hinge so as to take off the door ? My oven is a Zanussi ZOD305X and these hinges are shown as correct for the model so do ther new ones come with fitting instuctions ?

To replace the door hinges you need to take the door completely off, drop the door down and lock the hinges to remove the door and then undo the screws for the outer glass and the screws for the hinges are in the inner panel at the bottom.

I presume the order is for one hinge, not a pair?

Although for a different hinge type and manufacturer the most similar video we have is: How to replace oven door hinges - Smeg http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/1/1521/how-to-replace-oven-door-hinges-smeg

Answer this question

It has a drop down door on the main oven and it won't close completely. We have unscrewed 2 screws in order that the inner and outer layers come apart. We can see that the spring on both sides has broken. Can we replace the springs or do we need to replace the hinge. The part we are looking at on the website does not show the spring and so we are not sure if this is the correct part for our cooker.

There are three images on the part if you click to enlarge it. This shows the hinge spring that cannot be replaced on its own and comes already fitted to the hinge.
