Fridge Magnetic Door Seal

Over time the seal can become loose, cracked or damaged and cause air to escape, making the food inside your fridge expire early and causing an ice build-up. With this replacement door gasket from eSpares, the air will be sealed in and your refrigerator won't have to work so hard to maintain itself. You won’t shiver again while walking past the fridge.

Door apears to be glued together - no screws to undo. How does the replacement seal fit?

By Andrew - Sheffield - 28 March 2015
  • Andrew, did this work for you? I have a smeg fab32 too, with a split seal. It looks like the seal is glued in. No screws that I can see. Does this seal fit as a replacement, and if so, how do you attach it? I can't see any alternative channels. By Bill - - 27 July 2015

Some door seals are glued in place during manufacture but can be cut off and a new seal pushed into a channel moulded into the door (check before cutting off). For more information see our video: How to replace a freezer door seal http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/2/1145

Answer this question

We have a 9 years old fridge freezer with the freezer at the bottom. Both seals need replacing. The fridge seal is 576 x 870. Do you where how I source this seal and also how to fit it as it seems to be glued in place with no screws visible? Best Dan

To identify the part you need we need the model number and the 'ART number' (should start with 780?).
