I have an E06 error code on my SMV53A00GB bosch dishwasher. Would I need to purchase this and the lock?

E06 is indicating the machine is not identifying the door is locked. If the door locks correctly suspect this sensor to be faulty.
approx 2 yrs old.fault displays E06 .you here washer about to start but code appears.is this sensor a common problem.ive stripped door panel as its easy enough to change.

E06 on a Bosch dishwasher is usually referring to a door switch problem check the catch is closing the door correctly and the switch on the catch is not damaged.
