The lever does not look broken but it eats strimmer cable I have no control over the amount of cable that is continually been fed

This part must be thrown out by centrifugal force as the trimmer head spins to lock the hub. check for damage and it should move freely.
is this what would hold the spool in place mine is white and the bit that sticks up broke off now the wire just shoots out then tangles 1 Answer
if this is it how do u get the broken bit off it is modle GL 340C 230V 270W thanks I love this strimmer
- my lever is white and the locator is a white peg and not a hole as this one is
