How long are the bristles on the new brush? I'm trying to determine if the reason my dyson isn't picking up all bits from the carpet is due to the bristles being worn down. 1 Answer

We have now attached a video for this repair to the part.
Had the clutch on DC27 making a very loud noise and roller brush was not moving. Belts were ok. Removed roller brush to clean (had to really stretch the drive belt) noticed the ends were really stiff so prised off end caps. After extracting the compacted dirt and spraying with ptfe dry lubricant I re-assembled and clutch was working fine.
