Please note: During production, the outer door glass has been modified to avoid interference between the door and the lower zone of the cooker. This is a new style outer door glass, its height has been reduced by 2mm and the fixing points have been moved. If your cooker was produced before 12/01/2009 you will require a left hand and a right hand bracket to fit this new style door.

Can you replace the entire outer glass door of the SMEG oven? Ours came off, fell and shattered. 1 Answer
Our SMEG oven outer glass door came off, fell and shattered. We need to replace the entire outer shell, including the handle and brackets.

- The original glass has brackets at 510mm centres, the newer, replacement glass has the brackets at 420mm centres which needs to be spelled out to avoid thinking you do not have to purchase the additional left (209606PM) and right (209607PM) adaptor brackets to get the door to fit! Apart from that service and quality is great.
