i soldered the cable ends but the cable is to soft to push in

If the wire is stripped then twisted and tinned with solder all along the exposed copper is should then push into the switch correctly.

The switch does not have screws to fix the wires as one would normally expect.
- the wires you just have to push them in the correct place as the others, was fitted if you cut the wires from the other switch it would be best to solder the ends before fitting them as it would be a lot easier.
