We believe if the glass is in the upright position the hinge ends will lift out of their mounts as you lift the glass panel upwards. Once removed the hinge assembly should slide out of the glass frame.
I am on my second set of hinges and the cooker is less than two years old. There is no spring adjustment and as the spring end deforms the diecast bush ,tension is lost and the lid sags. The person who designed this arrangement needs sacking. As the springs tire with time there should be adjustment available. Not replacement every year at approx 25 pound a hit.
