- Fix the brush holders to the motor then, using a thin screwdriver, gently slide the brushes onto the commutator from the back of the brush holder. There will be a click when the brush is released from its transit grip, and makes contact with the commutator.

Hi, all images of this item show the item as it should arrive and be installed. Seems the Carbon is not meant to protrude as is the case with others. Thanks.

On the Beko brush assy for WM5100W washing machine how much carbon would you expect to see exposed when the brush assy is removed from motor. The machine doesn't rotate so I suspect the brushes. With this assy the carbon brush head has an end stop on it to stop it being removed from the assy. I only have appro 3/16 inch of carbon showing?
- sounds exactly the same as mine, i replaced them and the machine now runs as new
